Privacy Policy

ToolsifyFree is built so that your images never leave your device. This policy explains what that means in practice, what limited information we do handle, and the choices you have.

Last updated: September 11, 2026

1. Overview

This Privacy Policy describes how ToolsifyFree (“we”, “us”, “our”) handles information when you visit our website and use our image and video tools (the “Service”).

We designed the Service to work entirely in your web browser. You can use every tool without creating an account, and we do not ask for personal details to process your files.

2. Information We Do Not Collect

We do not upload, store, copy, view or share the files you open in our tools. Image resizing, compression, color replacement, format conversion and video conversion all run locally using browser technologies such as Canvas and WebAssembly.

Because of this design, we do not have access to your photos, videos, file names, file metadata or any content you work with.

3. Information We Do Collect

We collect only a small amount of technical information:

  • Information you send us voluntarily — for example your email address and message when you contact our support team.
  • Standard server log data — such as IP address, browser type, device type, referring page, and the date and time of your visit. This data is generated by our hosting provider for security, reliability and abuse prevention.
  • A functional language cookie — a first-party cookie that remembers the language you selected (see our Cookie Policy).

4. How We Use Information

The limited information described above is used to:

  • Operate, maintain and secure the Service and prevent fraudulent or abusive traffic.
  • Respond to your support requests, questions and feedback.
  • Understand aggregate usage trends so we can improve tool performance and usability.
  • Comply with legal obligations where applicable.

5. Cookies and Similar Technologies

We use a strictly functional cookie to remember your language preference. It contains no advertising identifiers and is not used to build a profile of you.

For full details, including how to block or delete cookies, please read our Cookie Policy.

6. Third-Party Services and Advertising

If we display advertising or use analytics services, those third parties may set cookies or similar identifiers to measure performance and show relevant ads. Google and its partners may use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this or other websites.

You can opt out of personalised advertising through Google Ads Settings, or opt out of some third-party vendor cookies through aboutads.info and youronlinechoices.eu. Where required by law, we ask for your consent before non-essential cookies are set.

7. Data Retention

Support emails are kept only as long as needed to resolve your request and for a reasonable follow-up period. Aggregate analytics data is retained in a form that does not identify you. Server logs are retained for a short period and then deleted or anonymised.

8. Data Security

Because files are processed locally, there is no transfer of your images to protect. We nevertheless apply industry-standard measures — encrypted connections (HTTPS), access controls and minimal data collection — to protect the limited information we do handle.

9. International Data Transfers

Our hosting and service providers may process technical data in countries other than your own. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses for such transfers.

10. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you and receive a copy.
  • Request correction or deletion of that information.
  • Object to or restrict certain processing.
  • Withdraw consent at any time where processing is based on consent.
  • Lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

11. Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age in your jurisdiction), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in our practices or legal requirements. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page always shows the current version, and material changes will be highlighted on this page.

13. Contact Us

If you have questions about this policy or about how your information is handled, email us and we will respond as soon as possible.
